Cottage Cheese is one of the most delicious and healthy baby foods. This milk-based product is a valuable source of protein, calcium, phosphorus, vitamins and minerals. Cottage cheese offers your baby new taste sensations and texture.

  • Milk proteins provide high nutritional value
  • Calcium and phosphorus help in the formation of the bone tissue
  • Minerals are involved in the production of hemoglobin
  • Vitamin B2 regulates metabolism, helps with the assimilation of protein in the body, improves eyesight, promotes normalization of the baby’s weight

However, it is recommended that cottage cheese only be added to your child's diet around the 8-9 month mark, when tolerability to a heavier food has better developed. It is also recommended to not give the cottage cheese later than 6pm as to not disrupt your child's sleep.

Please see below a quick step-by-step recipe for a homemade cottage cheese with pictures!
